From the initial review of a Sketch Plan through the installation of the last building unit, our staff provides complete oversight of every stage of a project. Our Construction Monitoring Staff provides an unparalleled level of observation to ensure that developers and contractors fulfi ll their obligations and complete the improvements in accordance with the standards of the municipality. In addition, our engineers and surveyors provide our municipal clients with Infrastructure Improvement Plans ranging from Highway Improvements to Stormwater and Flood Control Facilities.
Construction Management
Our Municipal clients rely on Knight Engineering to provide comprehensive construction management and monitoring of all projects. From the installation of residential roadways to the preparation of fi nal construction punch lists, we ensure that each project is completed in accordance with municipal and PennDot standards and approved plans. We also provide these services to our commercial, institutional, and residential clients. It is our belief that in order for a project to be completed on time and on budget, they must be thoroughly managed. We also prepare bid specifi cations, construction cost estimates, shop drawing reviews, perform as-built surveys and prepare as-built plans of the completed improvements.

Knight Engineering provides a series of environmental engineering services ranging from the permitting for Wetland Disturbances to the preparation of Stormwater Management Facilities which incorporate Groundwater Recharge and Water Quality Best Management Practices. Knight Engineering also prepares Regional Stormwater and Flood Control Studies.
Transportation Engineering
